An independent music company rooted in Texas and Mexican heritage, building opportunities for artists across genres. Artist ownership. Authentic expression. A vision built to last.
Raíz Firme Records grew from a small Texas farming community, where founder Hector Cardoza Gurrola was raised by migrant parents from Juárez, Chihuahua.
His first soundtrack was ranchera and norteño—Vicente Fernández, Pepe Aguilar, Juan Gabriel, Los Rieleros del Norte, Los Tigres del Norte, and Bronco.
School opened another world: Eminem, 50 Cent, Tupac, and Biggie. Then came Texas rap, SPM, Lucky Luciano, Baby Bash, chopped and screwed, and the sounds of Lil Rob, MC Magic, and NB Ridaz.
Different sounds. Different experiences. Every one of them became part of the vision.
Raíz Firme means firm roots: knowing where you come from while having the freedom to grow in your own direction.
Partnerships that respect the music and identity you create.
Room to develop your own sound and express your story.
Marketing, digital tools, and meaningful fan connections.
Too many independent artists have felt pressured to trade ownership or creative control for an opportunity. We believe artists deserve partnerships built on transparency, fair terms, and respect for what they create.
We’re building Raíz Firme Records to help artists retain ownership of their music and creative identity while developing the strategy, audience connections, and business foundation to grow.
With a background in marketing, design, and digital systems—and the infrastructure of Raíz Firme Pro—we bring creativity and business together.
In a world of billions of people, we believe distinctive voices have an audience worth finding. Reaching that audience takes strategy, consistency, and work.
Every genre. Every background. A shared respect for the music and the person behind it.
